Graduated from St. Petersburg Choir College (1986), St. Petersburg Conservatory (1990) and Postgraduate Program of the Conservatory (1992). Author of opera, "Elizaveta Bam", ballet "Kamenny Gost", Chamber Symphony, Concertino for flute and string orchestra, three concerts for choir, sonatas for piano, sonatas for cello, vocal cycles, some instrumental miniatures, books and articles about Russian musical avant-garde. Performed as composer, pianist and conductor in Russia, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia. Awards: diplomas at All-Russian Competition (1988) and Competition of Young Composers of St. Petersburg (1989); Grant of Russian Humanitarian Scientific Fund (1998-99), Grant of Ministry of Culture of Russia (1998-2000). |

Viola. Born in St. Petersburg 1966. Graduated from the Mussorgsky college of music. Since 1987, studied in St. Petersburg Conservatoire as a student and later as a post-graduate student under V. Stopichev and A. Dogadin. Since 1991, has worked as a first violist in the Hermitage Orchestra and since 1992, has taught viola at the Mussorgsky college of music. 1990 - First prize at the All-Russian Tchaikovsky quartet competition. 1992 - First prize at the International Competition in Murcia. 1994 - Recorded P. Hindemith's Trauermusik with the Hermitage Orchestra for Sony Classical. 1994 - Recorded D. Shostakovich's Viola Sonata for Mazur Media. Participated as a teacher in master classes at the Ost-West Musikfest (Krems, Austria) and at the Summer chamber music academy in Niedersachsen. Frequently plays as a soloist in Russia and abroad. |

Cello, Born in 1976 in St. Petersburg. Graduated from the Mussorgsky college of music. Studied in St. Petersburg Conservatoire under A. Nikitin. Works at the Hermitage Orchestra of the Hermitage Academy of Music. 1994 - Prize-winner at the international chamber music competition in St. Petersburg. 1999 - Special prize at the international chamber music competition in Kuhmo (Finland) as a member of Florestan-trio. 1999 - Worked as first cello at Mozarteum orchestra (St. Petersburg). Since 2001, participates in the "Remolino" ensemble. |
